Chester Kyles Colita serves as the Director of Engineering, bringing extensive knowledge as a Full Stack Developer and DevOps Engineer. His technical prowess is the backbone of Cube Tech 's development pipeline.
Known for his problem-solving skills and code efficiency, Chester ensures that both frontend interfaces and backend infrastructures run flawlessly. From managing server deployments to optimizing application performance, his work is integral to our daily operations.
Chester's path to full-stack engineering is anything but ordinary. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from the University of Cebu–Banilad, then went on to place 5th nationwide in the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination. He completed a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering at the University of San Carlos as an ERDT scholarship recipient, with a thesis on implementing a CNN-based face detection system on FPGA—work that sits at the intersection of hardware design and artificial intelligence.
That deep engineering foundation shows up across his career. At Kyocera, he developed firmware for multifunction printer scanner systems. During an internship at Wave Computing, he worked on integrated-circuit design for deep learning and built verification tooling for chip register testing. He has also taught engineering subjects—from embedded programming to digital communications—as a college instructor, and served as a resource speaker on VLSI and FPGA design.
Today, Chester builds production systems with PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and React—ranging from learning management platforms and healthcare apps to warehouse dashboards. He earned Accenture's Tech Vision Award in 2020 for Program the Future, and has mentored junior engineers as a team lead at every stage of his software career. Even his freelance stint as a PhotoMath content creator reflects the same precision he brings to code: breaking complex problems into clear, step-by-step explanations.
Chester is a firm believer in agile methodologies and clean code principles. He constantly mentors the engineering team, elevating their skills and maintaining a highly productive, innovative engineering environment.
